Hello! Sorry I haven't posted on here in a few weeks. At first, I couldn't find my camera because I didn't want to take pictures with my iPhone 6s camera. When I did find my camera, I was going to post a blog but then I started to slack on every department in my life, haha. But I am back! Over the past few weeks I have purchased some random beauty things...things I don't need but want. But it's okay to treat yo self from time to time.

Wet n Wild Highlighting Powders & J.Cat You Glow Girl Highlight |
I decided to stop by Walgreens to check out the drugstore makeup because I hadn't in a while. I should have just gone home, not spend any money but it happened and I have no ragrets. I didn't see anything intriguing until I got to the Wet n Wild section. I saw that they had the new(ish) highlighting powders everyone and their mother raves about but I've never seen them in store so I decided to pick them up. The two shades are Precious Petals and Crown of My Canopy. Both of these shades blend easily and give you a nice glow that isn't glittery which is a plus!
I didn't get the J. Cat You Glow Girl highlight at Walgreens, I got it the same day I got the Cover FX blurring primer (below) but this is a baked highlighter in the shade Twilight. It's a nice bronzing highlight for those with a more medium, darker skin tone and doesn't emphasize texture. Also super affordable.

Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Foundation in Cream Beige |
I also got the Wet n Wild Photofocus Foundation because everyone has raved about it too. I'm pretty picky about foundations because I do have oily skin but this is really nice and of course I set it with translucent powder so it doesn't slide off my face especially right now during the summer. I got the shade cream beige which is the medium shade with neutral undertones and this matches my skin tone pretty spot on.

Flower Beauty Sponge *mine's dirty but this is it* |
|
Maybelline Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder |
One of my favorite Youtubers, KathleenLights mentioned in one of her videos she mentioned that she loved the Flower Beauty Sponge so of course I went to Walmart after work one day to purchase it. (It's probably a curse that Walmart and Walgreens are near my workplace because I just want to buy stuff after, haha.) But this sponge has replaced my Beauty Blender and that is so crazy to me! I've been using it for about three weeks now and I love it so much. When you run it under water to dampen it, it expands pretty big, it's bouncy and blends my foundation and concealer nicely. I like it more than the Real Techniques and Ecotools sponges but those are also good drugstore sponges. I also got the new Maybelline Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder in Light Medium. I haven't used it enough to have a strong opinion on it but so far me likey.

Cover FX Blurring Primer |
These next few purchases I got them this past weekend because let's be real...no self control. At Ulta I purchased the Cover FX Blurring Primer. I've had it in my Sephora Cart forever but it would always go out of stock but then I went to Ulta and I saw they had the last one! I immediately grabbed it and told my sister it's a sign I should buy it right then and there so I did. It has a thick consistency but does a good job at filling/blurring your pores.

Real Techniques Face + Body Sponge |
I purchased the Real Techniques Face + Body Sponge and it's massive huge. I got this to apply my tanning lotion to my legs instead of my hands because orange hands aren't pretty. I have been wanting to try falsies for a while but I'm scared of applying them, so I figured I'd get these random $2 ones before using the other pricier ones I have.

Pixi Peel & Polish *the glare because of the packaging is terrible I know.* |
Lastly, I got the Pixi Peel & Polish exfoliator which was $24 at Target. I have one thing to say about that....das esspensive. It's okay to invest in skincare though. I've used it once so far and it didn't break me out. So far so good I'd say.
I was looking through my things and that's all I've purchased recently and hopefully for the time being, haha. I think my next post will be on my summer essentials including fashion, accessories, makeup and other random things.
Thank you for reading!
*I know I talk a lot, sorry not sorry*
