My favorite method of blending out my foundation is with a beauty blender. As we all know the og beauty blender is pricey at $20 a pop. I'm a fan of the black beauty blender and I love it but it can get pricey replacing them especially when your dog loves chewing them up! (I'm more careful about where I place them now) A lot of brands have been releasing their own beauty sponges and I've tried a few that I want to mention!
The original Beauty Blender is a cult favorite. It is on the pricier side but if you clean it and maintain it well it will definitely last you awhile. It's so soft and bouncy and it blends out your foundation flawlessly.
Up next is the Miracle Complexion Sponge by Real Techniques. This is another oldie but a goodie when beauty sponges were becoming popular and this one is a fraction of the price of the Beauty Blender. I've repurchased this several times and it gets the job done so I enjoy it.
3) EcoTools Perfecting Blender Duo. Ecotools also released a blender duo. I was not a fan of the smaller blender that's meant for concealer. I believe the bigger one is for sale individually now too. I didn't get to try this one for a long period of time because my dog chewed it up but from the times I remember, it did serve its purpose. I used the flatter side to blend my concealer and I overall liked it.
4) Flower Ultimate 3-in-1 Blending Sponge. I really like this one! The shape was weird to me in the beginning but I used the round side to side to blend foundation and the other side for concealer. It is really soft and don't feel like it's rough on my skin. It's one of my favorites.
5) Loreal also released a sponge named the Infallible Blend Artist Foundation Blender. That's a mouthful but this is a really good one. Upon first testing it out, I was not a fan I felt like it didn't blend well. I tried it out a few more times and I really like it. It's another one of my favorites.
6) I recently tried the Maybelline Face Studio Blender which is more new. Like the other ones, it's really soft, bouncy, and doesn't soak up a lot of foundation. The shape is odd but I don't mind it! Like the last two, I use the pointier side for concealer and the round side for foundation.
I felt like I repeated myself a lot in this! However, these are all different options to the beauty blender that are a fraction of the price and all from the drug store! They're all soft, bouncy, never rough/hard on the face when blending foundation. I really enjoy all of these and alternate between them. Hopefully you guys find this helpful and enjoyed reading!
