Colourpop Fem Rosa SHE Palette

Hello friends! Many should know that I love Colourpop for being affordable and having quality products. I placed an order a few weeks ago and took the plunge of purchasing two palettes. I love their pressed shadows so I knew I'd love their palettes. I finally purchased the Fem Rose SHE palette since it was out of stock. But alas! I got my hands on it! Alright let's get into this beauty! 

The first thing that attracted me to the palette was the stunning packaging of it! The deep red roses on the palette are so pretty! I knew I had to have it. The SHE palette is $16 which is so affordable for a well performing palette. It contains 12 shadows in metallic, matte and satin finishes in neutrals, pinks, golds, reds and purples. If you've purchased Colourpop shadows before, you'll know that the pan size is similar to a standard Makeup Geek shadow. However, the pans in the Colourpop palettes are a bit smaller at 0.58g per pan compared to the 1.5g of regular Colourpop shadows.

The shades:

Ladylike: metallic soft champagne
Babe: satin light peachy pink
Dainty: metallic pinky taupe
Chick: metallic subtle gold
Mademoiselle: metallic rose gold
Gal: metallic red with copper duochrome
Empress: metallic mid-tone pink plum
Filly: metallic rusty orange
Dear: matte warm rose
Missy: matte deep burgundy
Damsel: matte smokey violet
Duchess: matte dusty coral

As a whole the palette performs well! The mattes have a little kickback/minimal fall out but they blend well. The metallics and satins work well with a flat brush or finger but also work well. I wish there were a few more matte shades like a cream to set eyeshadow primer or a mid-toned brown to transition instead of some of the metallics. But I don't mind it so much for the price. I also like how the back of the palette displays the names of the shadows with the finishes.
