Colourpop You Had Me At Hello Palette

Today I have one of the two newest Colourpop palettes to share, the You Had Me At Hello eyeshadow palette! I received this last week alongside the SHE palette so I wanted to share swatches and my thoughts on this palette too. I've played with it a bit and I like the shades so far! As far as I know it's still in stock on their site as well as their other palettes if you're planning on picking any up for yourself or Christmas gifts. :)

The You Had Me At Hello palette is $18.00, two dollars more than their other palettes but they have included a mirror to this palette! I love that they included a mirror and that they only raised the price by two dollars so it's still affordable and accessible. It's a great value for a 12 pan eyeshadow palette that's good quality. It contains a mix of neutrals, pinks, purples and browns.

The shades:
The Knot: metallic cool-toned ivory
Moon Struck: metallic soft gold
Two Peas: matte peachy beige
Candygram: metallic pinky red with gold duochrome
Winning Ticket: matte dusty mauve pink
FBO: metallic pink violet
Look-See: matte cool-toned plum
Fool's Rush: metallic golden bronze
Pulling Strings: matte warm saddle brown
Want U Back: matte dusty mauve brown
DTR: metallic silvery taupe
Sparks Fly: matte deep plummy brown

Overall, I think the colors in this palette are beautiful if you like mauve eye looks! Like the SHE palette, the mattes blend great and the shimmers apply nicely when packed on with a flat brush or your finger. The shades compliment each other nicely.

I've been reaching for this palette often and I know I'll get a lot of use from it! I think many of you would enjoy this as it's good for everyday wear. Another thing, Colourpop has also stepped it up with their packaging, their packaging on their new products has been so pretty I love it! Have you guys tried the Colourpop palettes? Let me know your thoughts on them below!
