My Accessory Essentials

Last week I spoke about my fashion essentials and this week I want to talk about my favorite accessories. I truly believe that accessories can really transform an outfit. It gives you the opportunity to mix in the current trends to your personal style. Some of these can be essentials to some but it gives others the opportunity to explore with different accessories. I'm going to talk about my favorite accessories that help me define my style. Everyone has their own essentials


Jewelry

I personally love dainty necklaces. It's simple, personal, and adds a little extra to your outfits. I also love antique gold and burnished silver rings and earrings.

Belts

Ring Buckle Belt

I've always been into belts. Lately these more statement belts have been trending and I love the look of them with your shirt tucked in or slightly tucked in the front to show off the buckle.

Hats

Classic Felt Fedora

Floppy Felt Hat

Something about hats I love that make me feel as if I'm in American Horror Story: Coven, haha. They're stylish and hide a bad hair day so it's a win-win. My favorites to wear are fedoras and floppy hats. I also love beanies. I know caps and cable hats are trending at the moment too!

Cactus Pin

This is a great way to make your fashion pieces unique with different pins of things you like. Denim jackets and bags are my favorite items to put my pins on. You can find so many cute and unique pins on Etsy and Instagram shops. One of my favorites is Pinaderia.

Other accessories are scarves (I love them in the Winter), watches, sunglasses/glasses, handbags, etc. Those are other options that I personally don't wear but they help transform outfits as well. Let me know what accessories you guys incorporate into your wardrobe, I'd love to know.
