Concealer is one of those makeup products that I'm never too excited about or purchase often. That was until I discovered the Tarte Shape Tape concealer which is my holy grail. Although my skin has been clearing up, it is important to me to cover up any blemishes and acne scars. I have tried several concealers from both the drugstore and high end, but only a few stand out to me. So today, I'm going to talk about my top four concealers so I hope you all enjoy!
Wet n Wild Photofocus Concealer
I have to say that Wet n Wild is really really stepping up their game. This is a really good concealer for only $3.99! This is a creamy, smooth concealer and applies smoothly wherever I apply concealer normally. I use Light/Med Beige for my undereyes and Medium Tawny for blemishes. The coverage is great and blends great. You really can't beat the price.
Colourpop No Filter Concealer
It's no surprise that I'm a huge fan of Colourpop. When they announced they were releasing concealers I was excited...but yet again I'm excited about everything Colourpop releases. This is technically not a drugstore concealer because you can only purchase it online but it's only $6! It's smooth, glides on and blends like a dream. It works beautifully on any foundation I've applied too with a sponge or brush. It's all preference but I really really like this!
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer
This is my holy grail concealer. I have repurchased this about three times now. It breaks my little heart to spend $25 on it but it's gotten me through really tough times when my skin was really acting up. It's full coverage, smooth and blends great! I apply it to my undereye area with a lighter shade and on blemishes with my skin tones shade. A little goes a long way so it's a good investment.
Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer
Before I discovered the Tarte Shape Tape, the Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer was my favorite high end concealer. It works great under the eyes and on any blemishes. I'd say this is more of a medium coverage concealer but you can always build it up to full coverage. It's lightweight and does not feel cakey.
