Has another month really gone by?! I can't believe we have three months left of 2017. It still shocks me how fast the year has passed by. But I'm excited for this season that brings us Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas! It really is the most wonderful time of the year. I hope everyone ends the year on a good note and continue to spread all the good vibes around us! Anyways, without further adu, let's get into my September favorites!
1) So everyone and their mama was talking about Fenty Beauty since it launched! I was pretty excited to see this new brand come to light and what it had to offer. As an oily skinned girl I was pretty excited about the foundation. I read/watched so many reviews before I took the plunge to purchase this foundation. I'm in the shade 300. The coverage is medium but you can always build it up to full. It's lightweight, easy to blend and the finish looks like my skin and not cakey at all.
2) The second item I purchased by Fenty Beauty was Gloss Bomb. I'm a matte girl. I love matte lipsticks because of their longevity. This is the first gloss I've purchased since I was in middle/high school and I'm convinced it's the only gloss I need. The fruity scent reminds me of a lip balm/gloss from my childhood. It's not sticky and looks great on its own or applied over a lipstick.
3) I'm a huge lover of bronzer. I decided to try this Milani Baked Bronzer in the shade Soleil because it's a glowy bronzer compared to the matte bronzers I own. It's a medium bronzed tan with gold shimmer. It gives off a more slight shimmer finish so it's not overly shimmery/glittery which is perfect to give you a nice glow.

Wet N Wild Highlighting Gold Bar |
4) I found this Wet n Wild Highlighting Gold Bar on a whim at Rite Aid in a limited edition display with their other highlighters. Wet n Wild makes great highlighters for the price and this one is no exception! This highlight gives a beautiful glow without being shimmery or glittery. If you guys can get your hands on it, buy it!
5) I really didn't need a new mascara but after hearing so many great things about the Maybelline Big Shot Mascara I had to try it out. The formula is a little on the drier side but it gives me so much volume and length while avoiding clumping even after layering many coats of it. A tip I do to get more volume is to apply the mascara on top and bottom of my lashes and I get no clumps. I also purchased the waterproof formula which helps your lashes stay curled.
Thank you for reading and I'm looking forward to next month's favorites.
I want to try the Fenty foundation but i went in and coultn decide what shade to get they were either too light or too dark.
